Jippity: Code Browser Games!
Learn to code and make custom games
Course Overview
This ongoing course is a space for kids who want to learn coding and make their own games. Whether you have never written a line of code before or know your way around a code editor, all are welcome! With my guidance, students will learn the fundamentals of coding and prompt engineering in a hands-on, engaging way.
What Will We Do?
- Join a small group of learners and meet once a week
- Learn the fundamentals of programming
- Learn how to effectively interface with an AI assistant
- Make awesome games
What Do You Need?
- A computer with a working camera and microphone
- A mouse is recommended but not strictly necessary
What is Jippity?
Jippity is the best place for kids to code online. Jippity teaches real code — JavaScript, HTML, and CSS — but softens the difficulty of learning syntax through a powerful AI assistant that can turn your ideas, plainly written, into functional code.
What Comes Next?
- After mastering the basics, students will have the option to move into an advanced cohort
- For those looking to dive deeper into the world of programming, 1 on 1 private Jippity sessions are available
